The moon and me, talking about you (variations)

Here, where the moon is like a sun you can watch, I caught a glimpse of your eyes reflected in the skies, and got a tan from your smile's sunshine.

***

I tanned from the moonshine, bathing in a pool of ghostly light. The day shining on you, at the other end of the world, found me and carried your smile with it, beaming all the way from the skies.

***

It was night and day and you, all into one glorious moment. The light from your day was beaming back to me from the moon. And knowing that a ray of sunshine might have bounced back from your smile to the skies then to me sent shivers to my spine despite the lukewarm water bathing my skin.
